Open Day at Chislehurst & West Kent Cricket Club
Saturday 24 September, Cricket Ground, Watts Lane
Chislehurst and West Kent Cricket Club will be opening its grounds and pavilion today from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
Coaching and activities from 10.30am. These will include:
- Viewing selected archives in the 112 year old pavilion
- Hit the wicket competition
- Fielding and catching drills
- Free use of equipment
- One-to-one coaching by the club professional (15 minute slots £5.00)
- Test yourself against the bowling machine
- Join a game of quick cricket
Drinks and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
No booking required
£5 charge for one-to-one coaching sessions
Entrance in Cricket Ground Road, off Watts Lane.
Chislehurst and West Kent Cricket Club celebrates its bi-centenary in 2012; it first played on Bromley Common in 1812. It moved to Chislehurst ten years later in 1822, and has played cricket here ever since.
